Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
